I’d convinced myself that I wasn’t interested in seeing the new Superman Returns movie right away. At least not until recommendations came in from other Lois & Clark fans so I know they didn’t completely mess up the relationship. But after spending several hours at Walmart today, surrounded by Superman merchandize on practically every aisle, I think I’ve been subliminally brainwashed. Okay, blatantly mesmerized. Honestly, I can’t believe how much merchandize they’ve cranked out for this one.

Then there’s the fact that in just the last few days our TiVo has managed to snag around a dozen different interviews/shows related to the new movie. Yeah, I have a wishlist search on it set for keyword Superman. Is that really any surprise? :D And I’ve watched all of them, too. So far it’s not looking too bad. Still not sure if I’m going to rush out this week or wait but I’m definitely weakening . . .

I didn’t have to think twice about picking up the Lois & Clark season three DVD, however. Priorities.

  1. Welcome, Angie. And yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I do so love being able to watch the episodes on DVD. Not that I didn’t already have them taped, but, still, there’s just something about the DVD features that allow for slowing down those, uh, good scenes. 😀

  2. 4 hours of Lois and Clark in the first night I had the DVDs. Can I tell you how much I love L&C on DVD? 🙂
