Sometimes, I feel like I don’t know my self very well. I swear I don’t particularly like time travels romances and then I go out and buy one on a whim. My daughter, Amy, and I raided Wal-Mart today or at least that’s what it felt like. Mostly gardening and organizing stuff was what we went for, but I also managed to snag a couple of books. Like that’s any real surprise. Just watched the new Pride & Prejudice movie with Keira Knightly in it and really enjoyed it. As in more than I’ve enjoyed the other video versions and I believe I’ve seen them all. Don’t have a list to check but pretty sure about that. Knightly was impressive but I thought the man playing Darcy did an absolutely fabulous job of conveying the character’s natural reserve and shyness that leads people to believe he’s much more uptight than he really is. The Bride by Julie Garwood has long been undeniably my ultimate personal favorite romance, although there have been a few challengers for the title recently, as well as an often-used comfort read for when nothing else works for me. Foster, Lori: Truth or Dare anthology – Cute and quirky as well as steamy, these three stories were a very enjoyable Saturday afternoon’s read.
