The funeral for my father was on Wednesday and I think I’m starting to get caught up on rest. Not finished yet, mind you, but getting there. I had intended to get online Thursday and start catching up with everyone but instead I basically vegetated in front of a video game. I’d convinced my sister to go on home to Missouri the day after the funeral instead of trying to do the last little bit of business related to everything. I figured we were all too exhausted and she needed to get our mother home for some rest anyway. They’d been here for most of the last two weeks straight because everything was so touch and go there at the end.
Then yesterday I got caught up in the Stargate marathon before the series finale and never made it online again. Which is just as well seeing as I was probably still too mentally tired to make much sense anyway. Good finale. Very quirky and in character for that series.
But I’m back today. I’ll probably spend the rest of the day catching up on all the blog posts from all my blog buddies I’ve missed over the last week or so. Don’t know that I’ll do any commenting on any of them but we’ll see. Depends upon how brilliant any of you have been. ;o
