I bought two books yesterday and dithered over three others before deciding to do some research on them. The two I got are Good Girls Do by Cathie Linz and Lady Anne’s Dangerous Man by Jeane Westin. My brain is telling me I’ve read something by Linz in the past but nothing in particular is coming to mind there. Readerware tells me that she had several stories in the Harlequin Duets line that I subscribed to for a while and later traded away, mostly. Well, that explains why the name was familiar anyway.

Westin is completely new to me but the blurb makes it sound like a Robin Hood type plot and that I can’t resist. Robin Hood plots rank right up there with secret identity one for me – can’t resist them but then dither on actually reading them because I’m so picky about them. Love the dress on the cover, too, and I don’t want to hear whether it is historically accurate for Restoration England or not. So there.

Oh, yeah, the three books I dithered over were Master of Darkness by Susan Sizemore, The Highlander’s Stolen Bride by Melanie George and The Bride Hunt by Margo MacGuire. The mystery is about that last because Amazon had both the Sizemore and the George books but not the MacGuire. Is it possible I didn’t write her name down correctly? Anyone read this one or know anything about it?
