Okay, so I’m looking up Love Spell covers in Readerware – just love the new cover thumbnail feature – in response to Sybil mentioning how nice one of their new (upcoming?) covers is. And what do I find but something I hadn’t noticed before on one of the covers and for good reason. The, um, item in question is not on the book on my shelf. Really curious now, I checked Amazon to see if that’s where Readerware got the image. And sure enough, there he is.

So, why does the image on Amazon have Count Mighty Mouse on the cover and my book doesn’t? I think he’s cute. 😀

  1. Oh, thanks for the link, Kristie. Yeah, I think it is the nose that gave the Mighty Mouse impression.

He was (is?) one little hunky mouse, though, wasn’t he? (BG)

  2. Mighty Mouse and Mickey Mouse the same thing?? Maili – bite your tongue. You obviously missed the blog I did on the crush I had on Mighty Mouse when I was just a young thing. There is no comparison at all!!! Mighty Mouse was one tiny yet very well defined luurrvvvee Mouse. As evidence:

The Brain may be your intellecutal mouse, but Mighty Mouse is your hero mouse

  3. Yeah, more or less, although I do think his nose reminds me more of Mighty Mouse. ‘Course it’s been years since I’ve seen Mighty Mouse so I might have to look him up to be sure. (BG)

Were the covers with him on it actually sold? Early? Late? Because I’m still trying to figure out why mine doesn’t have it.

  4. That’s exactly what I said last year when we first saw the cover. Everyone were, “Yes, yes. Now shut up. Aww… look … it’s a cute cover” I said that bat thingy is Mickey Mouse. Well, you said Mighty Mouse, granted, but it’s the same thing, isn’t it? :>
