Just been buried under family stuff for the last few days and today I was out most of the day taking my father for a checkup at the doctor’s and running related errands. On top of that, I got a flu shot while we were there. Technically I’m under the recommended age – ain’t it nice to be underage for something? ;p – but since I’m primary caretaker for someone who is in that group, it’s also recommended. Second teir or something. Lucky me. They say there aren’t any side effects but I feel like I’ve been run over by a truck. I almost fell asleep trying to finish rereading a chapter of The Order of the Phoenix (Harry Potter)Â a little while ago. Then again, maybe I just didn’t sleep well last night. 😉
Anyway, I swear I shall try to catch up on all the blogger buzz tomorrow plus attempt to respond to some unanswered comments here.
I hope.
Gah. I will not go without a flu shot nowadays and I’m well below the age. I get the flu very easy and had pneumonia two years ago so you bet, I’ll be standing in that line waiting for my shot.
Last year I felt achy and I took some tylenol. I mean, they can’t tell you there are no side effects. Your immune system is attacking what they have put in your system!
Glad that you are taking care of you while looking after you father!
