At least I used to think so. Oh, okay, I still think so. I do. I really do. It’s just that the last several times I’ve been to our local one I’ve been extremely disappointed and it’s started to sour me on the experience.
It’s also made me all philosophical. Not a good thing at this time of year. But, when one thinks about it, doesn’t it make sense that the, um, less well received books would be the ones consistently turned back into the used stores? See I don’t mean occassionally turned in. I know there are going to be those gems turn up here and there. Only when the stock gets picked over as much as we pick over it . . . see where I’m going with this?
I need fresh blood, er, books.
Oh, well, there was at least half a thought buried in there somewhere when I started this post. Make of it what you will. ;P
