James Oliver Ridney, Jr. – AKA Robert Jordan – was born on October 17, 1948. Sadly, he passed away on September 16, 2007, from a rare medical condition that directly affected his heart. Best known as the author of The Wheel of Time fantasy book series, he was and still is beloved by his fans. Because there are two TV series I have to watch releasing seasons then. Well, around then anyway. First up is the new Asoka series which starts on August 23. To be honest, I’m kind of iffy on this one. Sure, I’m curious but I was never that big a fan of The Clone Wars so… we’ll just have to see. Because I have so many things I want to do on the site right now but my life has been chaos lately. I do have a couple of longer posts in the works but they aren’t ready yet. Plus, I’ve been having some shoulder problems the last couple of days and not really feeling like doing a lot of typing. Yes, they finally dropped the first teaser trailer this week. And, of course, I promised my son I would post it. Oh, but it’s really good. I’ve actually gotten back to my read through of the Wheel of Time books in recent weeks. I found out my son had them on both Audible and Kindle. (Because of course he does. Heh.) The important thing, though, is that by having both they can be synced.
