The major reason is because by definition (most of the time anyway) there is a different couple in each book. Well, if it’s a really good flashlight, that is. So, a couple of weeks ago we had a high wind event with winds that reached lower hurricane levels. This is a very unusual occurrence for our area seeing as we are in western Kentucky. There wasn’t a lot of widespread structural damage but our electric grid took a major beating as several hundred poles came down. Because I have so many things I want to do on the site right now but my life has been chaos lately. I’ve been in a really big reading mood this week. I’ve already reread several of Shelly Laurenston’s Pride books. It’s my absolute favorite comfort food romance series right now. And I read it over and over again. Sometimes multiple times a year. Here’s the thing, though. This third installment in her Honey Badger Chronicles was released on March 31 and I downloaded it the second I got up. Then spent the rest of the day reading it. I cannot express how much I enjoy her books. How much I laugh and giggle while reading them. To me they are simply fun to read. Which means I’m probably going to go back and read all three. Right after Thanksgiving I completely lost control of my schedule for various reasons. So I haven’t had much time to work on the site lately. In A Badger Way by Shelly Laurenston came out today and I bought it on ebook the second I woke up. I only realized yesterday the hero was Shen Li, the panda shifter from Bite Me. I think my brain just exploded. I honestly never thought she’d give Shen his own book. Also, this definitely means I get more Vic for sure & possibly Livy from my top favorite in the Pride series, Bite Me. Double yah! Now back to reading. Read More →

For the last week or so I’ve been rereading one of my all-time favorite romance series – Shelly Laurenston’s Pride shifter series. I’m currently on the last and my favorite Bite Me with Vic and Livy. Yum.  One of the reasons I like her writing and that series in particular is that it makes me laugh. Which for me is comfort food.
