Two weeks ago, I had to say goodbye to my beloved doggie buddy, Bruno, who had been my almost constant companion for the last 12 years. He lived a good life and was almost exactly 16 years old. He’s the newest addition to our family, a smallish-sized pit bull mix we fondly call Bruno. (More on the significance of the name in a bit.) It’s possible he may be a future guest contributor to the blog if all goes well. Hey, he likes a good yarn, particularly if they’re action-oriented but he also has a soft spot for the mushy stuff, too, so we’re a good match. ;-). For the last couple of days, I’ve been distracted dealing with a family matter that in the grand scheme of things seems small but isn’t to us. My son’s dog is 16 years old and showing it now.
