I’m trying to be more diligent about giving heads up for any good discussions I run across and/or join into on the web. Most of the time, I figure new book finds can wait until Friday but what’s the point of waiting to tell you about the posts I’m already commenting on? That makes no sense. I’ve been literally buried in family matters and errands this week but did get a chance for a very quick used book store (UBS) raid on Tuesday that I had to share. The short version is that an appointment I had was moved back an hour and a half so I took care of a few errands and still had some time to kill. I was just looking through my immediate TBR (to-be-read) basket, which is one of those long bread baskets, to see what to read next and suddenly realized that I have three first person romances in there currently. That strikes me of indicative of something but I’m not sure what or if it’s a good thing since I’m not all that crazy about the use of that perspective in romances and can’t figure out how I ended up with that many in the basket at one time in the first place.
