A recent discussion over on The Galaxay Express about how to promote science fiction romances to new-to-them readers has renewed my passion as an advocate for people using tags to help describe books to readers and also reminded me of a little experiment I did back in the spring on a book from my top favorites list. There are few TV series that I feel truly deserve the honor of being collected in their entirety. Stargate SG1 is one of them. Truth to tell, I’ve only recorded two other start to finish in my entire life – Star Trek: The Next Generation and Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. I finished Games of Command by Linnea Sinclair last night and have to admit I was just blow away by how she back-tracked and expanded the story. It wasn’t at all what I expected. It was so much better. Tighter. Developed. Anyone else as amazed as I am at just how good this season of this series has been? I was sure that things would go downhill after they switched to the Sci-Fi channel. Then I was sure things would really not work when Jack stopped being active on the team.
