Even when they are attempting to be dead serious. I ran across a vintage cover of an Agatha Christie book I just had to share because, besides being an old one ($.25?) I hadn’t seen, she’s being strangled by… the Hulk??? Which stopped me dead in my tracks. I was under the weather earlier this week and between that and life I really haven’t had a chance to write much. I have a couple of longer posts in the works but they’re just not ready. However, today I got distracted by a brand new ebook, The Blacksmith Queen by G.A. Aiken AKA Shelly Laurenston. It’s the just released first book in a new series, I think related to her Dragon Kin series cause she mentions a far away crazy Queen. Heh, wonder who that could be. I recently ran across a new to me website that I’ve fallen in love with – The Silver Petticoat Review: Romance in Entertainment. What I love about it is that it feeds my “and I want some romance in what I watch” craving with regards to video fare. To be perfectly honest I usually don’t seek out stuff on TV and in the movies for romance. If it’s called a romance, half the time I’ll be leery of it in the first place.
