Over the holiday weekend my son & I watched a couple of Batman animated movies we’d never seen. One of them, Batman: Gotham by Gaslight, wasn’t bad. In fact, I really enjoyed the Victorian and slightly steampunk take. The solution to the “mystery” was, well, odd and kind of out of left field. My son and I watched it last weekend and I’m still processing just how good this was. So much so that while I want to do a post breaking down all my thoughts about it, it will probably be a long one.
