But first let me tell you about a couple of books I picked up this week.

Conqueror\'s Kiss

Conqueror’s Kiss by Hannah Howell – I couldn’t get past this one in the grocery store. No reason really other than I seem to be gathering up her Highlander group like mad in recent months. And enjoying most of them.

Love in a BottleLove in a Bottle by Zoe Archer – Okay, I honestly have no idea why I picked this one up. Really. Except the cover is a gorgeous purple. Hmmm, does that sound as weak to the rest of you? Well, the line in the blurb about beautiful fungus probably wouldn’t be convincing either . . . ;p

RenegadeRenegade by Stobie Piel – I got in the mood to reread this one the other night and really enjoyed it. I’ve very picky about secret identity stories so the fact that this one works for me on so many levels is a delight all around. If I remember correctly it came out about the time the first Banderas Zorro came out at the movies so that may have had a lot to do with the “flavor” of the book with its half Zuni/half Argentinian hero but several of her other books, The Renegade\'s Heartincluding a couple of her futuristics have Native American characters types. I suddenly feel a masked binged coming on to replace my shifter one and I believe I’ll start with the sequel to this one called The Renegade’s Heart about the hero’s little brother taking up the mask when the need arose.

  1. I know…the blurb isn’t very inspiring, but I hope you look beyond that and give my book a read. I think you’ll find it funny and a refreshing change of pace.

I invite your readers to stop by my website, http://www.zoearcherbooks.com, and read an excerpt. I promise it’s better than the blurb might suggest!
