I was never a Mulder & Scully shipper when the series was airing. I always saw their relationship as soul mates but platonic ones. And that’s the way I remember them.
So as I’m re-watching the series, I realize I had forgotten how flirty they were in the early seasons of X-Files.
Okay flirty might not be the right word but I don’t know what else to call it especially on Scully’s part. Mulder is semi-oblivious. He has his moments but they are more blink and you miss them than Scully’s.
Right now I’m at the end of season 2 and they seem to be settling into the relationship I do remember. It’ll be interesting to see how my opinion changes in the later seasons.
