My mother and sister decided to visit a great aunt in a neighboring county and I passed on the trip. So, I’m vegging out in the sunshine on the deck this morning with a reread of one of Lynn Michaels’ called Return Engagement. I don’t often indulge in single title contemporaries without paranormal elements in them but when I do they usually have a hefty dose of what I call plain old every day “life” humor in them. (Think the opposite of chick-lit. ;p) The two of hers I have read, Mother of the Bride and this one, qualify in this regard. I think there’s at least two more spun-off of these. Anyone know if they’re as consistently solid reads?

Jayne, I should’ve listed the four connected books when I posted originally. They are in order:
Mother of the Bride
Return Engagement
Honeymoon Suite
Marriage By Design
I don’t think they’re all that closely connected, more simply loose acquantance spin-offs rather than close family ones. But I’ll definitely go read your review now. 😉
Bev, I read Michaels’ “Marriage by Design” last year and enjoyed it. I’m not sure if it’s part of this series (kind of think it’s not) but it (obviously) has a wedding theme.
