I’ve had this book for about a month now, can’t seem to get it read and I have no idea why really.
Yes, her earlier Wildside books did seem to be acquired tastes, i.e. it took a bit of time to get used to the way she approaches storytelling, but I loved them. And I believe I’d love this one once I get into it, too, but so far I’ve had about three false starts on it where I completely zone out after about 10 pages, which only puts me up to about page 50 or so.
Very odd.
So, I guess it’s going to have to go back into my TBR basket until I’m in the right mood. Whatever and whenever that is.
