Because honestly, I did not know this. Or if I ever did at any point it was buried so far back into my subconscious that it was lost in a memory black hole. But he was related. In A Badger Way by Shelly Laurenston came out today and I bought it on ebook the second I woke up. I only realized yesterday the hero was Shen Li, the panda shifter from Bite Me. I think my brain just exploded. I honestly never thought she’d give Shen his own book. In our spare time lately, my daughter and I have been tag-teaming each other replaying this game. Well I think I’m replaying it and she may be playing most of it for the first time. One of us will play and the other will navigate using the walk-through and then we’ll switch up playing and navigating. For the last week or so I’ve been rereading one of my all-time favorite romance series – Shelly Laurenston’s Pride shifter series. I’m currently on the last and my favorite Bite Me with Vic and Livy. Yum.  One of the reasons I like her writing and that series in particular is that it makes me laugh. Which for me is comfort food. And after the month I’ve had with one illness after another that’s the antidote I needed. Other readers may want to cry. I want to laugh my head off. I’ve always preferred DC Comics but there is no denying that Stan Lee was a comic book creative genius his entire career. Otherwise known as getting in the mood for Halloween.  I was re-watching the old TV series Jonathan Creek after finding it on Amazon Prime and got curious about the theme music. I figured it was written for the series but nope. Apparently the theme of that show is part of a fairly famous piece of music written by Camille Saint-Saëns with very strong roots in Halloween. I think I’m back in fighting form, more or less. Haven’t been back to the doctor yet for more blood tests but I’m definitely feeling better and especially not as fatigued. Over the recent Labor Day weekend, during some down time I was burned out on detective shows, didn’t want to read and finally pulled out this game. Of all the various Zelda games I think this one is the best followed closely by its direct sequel Majora’s Mask. I just finished my first reread of this series – read it for the first time earlier this year – and I gotta say, while I liked it a lot the first time, it seemed even better on rereading.  Okay, full disclosure here.
