Two weeks ago, I had to say goodbye to my beloved doggie buddy, Bruno, who had been my almost constant companion for the last 12 years. He lived a good life and was almost exactly 16 years old. I have been very under the weather for most of the last month. Nothing serious, just a very bad cold that ended up as a bad sinus infection. And tried it’s best to go into bronchitis. The last few weeks have been difficult for me personally. My sister has been in the hospital with pneumonia and at times hasn’t been doing so well. On top of that, I’ve had a really bad cold the last week or so. Just feeling miserable. At one point, I honestly thought I might have strep throat it was so sore. I actually began feeling well enough to start doing a bit of blogging about a month ago. So, of course, we immediately started having a lot of problems with our internet connection. Then it died. Dead. As in we were no longer even getting a usable signal at our house except on our phones. Thus began the search for a new internet service. Which is not simple when you live in a more rural area.
