Yes, they finally dropped the first teaser trailer this week. And, of course, I promised my son I would post it. Oh, but it’s really good. I’ve actually gotten back to my read through of the Wheel of Time books in recent weeks. I found out my son had them on both Audible and Kindle. (Because of course he does. Heh.) Over the holiday weekend my son & I watched a couple of Batman animated movies we’d never seen. One of them, Batman: Gotham by Gaslight, wasn’t bad. In fact, I really enjoyed the Victorian and slightly steampunk take. The solution to the “mystery” was, well, odd and kind of out of left field. The Bridal Jitters novella introduces Jayne Castle’s world of Harmony but that world truly begins to take shape in the two book story of Lydia Smith & Emmett London called After Dark and After Glow. While writing this post I have gone back and forth on whether to talk about these two books separately or together.
