So, I’m reading a new ebook called Dragon Actually over the weekend and really enjoying it. I mean laughing and giggling my way through it and not in a bad way. About a year, maybe more ago, I had an idea of trying to do something to more or less catalog all the shifter books I’d been reading during my “shifter phase” as I was so fondly calling it at that time. Well, almost done. As you can see, I have the blog itself moved but the main part of the site is down. I’m in the process of working with tech support to get the new program for it loaded. That should be in place within the next day or so and then I’ll start playing with it. I hope. So I’m going to start posting again. I almost didn’t post this but decided to go on and let everyone know just in case there were some still coming by. In a few days, it may appear that this blog will disappear. It will still be here but I’m moving it to a lower level on the site so that I can do some remodeling of the upper levels with a different program. I feel like I’ve been asleep for a week. Oh, wait, I think I have. Well, most of it. I’ve had that head cold “thing” that’s been going around. So has everyone recovered from the holidays yet? I think I have. What’s that old saying about a new year, a new attitude? I saw a book in the grocery story yesterday and passed on it then. Now, I’m wondering if I’m going to have to rethink that after doing some online research. It was by an author I’ve read and enjoyed in the past, true – Kathleen Nance. Really liked her Olympian and Djinn books. Phoenix Unrisen is labeled romantic suspense, though, and so I paused before picking it up. I’m not real hot on that nowadays. Since I’m having so much trouble getting around to talking about what I’m reading – and I’m still not really in the mood to talk about it yet – I thought I’d post something about a couple of the new TV series I’ve checked out so far this fall.   I am definitely hooked on the new Flash Gordon series. The first thing I found out Monday was that Robert Jordan, author of The Wheel of Time fantasy/science fiction series, had died. Bummer. Especially for my son, who is a such big fan. He’s actually met the man several times at signings so he’s been rather depressed about it all week. As you can see, I’m playing around with a new theme. I’m trying to decide between two actually, but I may go back to the old one so don’t get comfortable. If I were to post the summary of a book without any indication of how I felt about the book, would people consider that a review?
