I’m not a hardcore gamer, especially when it comes to computer games. Quick WOT update first. I finished Book 3 The Shadow Rising and started on Book 4 The Fires of Heaven after a weekend break. During a particularly busy and stressful week with nothing else ready to post I noticed the National Weather Service (NWS) doing a lot of posts related to the fact that the NWS is observing an anniversary on October 1. In short, I finished Wheel of Time (WOT) #3: The Dragon Reborn and took a break to listen to the third book in the Haunted Bookshop cozy mystery series by Cleo Coyle (or Alice Kimberly because some editions have that name ??).   About Haunted Bookshop series I really, really enjoyed The Ghost and the Dead Man’s Library. I think she’s getting better. That’s not to say the first two weren’t good but the first, The Ghost and Mrs. McClure, was more involved with setting the scene and getting to know the characters. I ran across “Doctor Who: The Time War Was Genius (& Moffat Made It Even Better)” on Screen Rants and was left rather bemused. Maybe because Screen Rants is rather hit and miss with me. Several weeks ago I talked about starting to listen to Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time books on Audible because of a promise to my son. He is a devoted fan that has author signed hardbacks, collectibles & tee-shirts. just finished rewatching all of Fringe and wow

I’ve been wanting to rewatch this one for a while and when I found out Fringe was on Prime through IMDB (who knew they had their own channel?) I started an immediate binge. I was under the weather earlier this week and between that and life I really haven’t had a chance to write much. I have a couple of longer posts in the works but they’re just not ready. I haven’t had a lot of time this week to work on a longer post so I thought I’d do a quick one about one of my pet peeves. Ever noticed how many games for mobile have hidden Match 3 games in them. By hidden I mean that the Match 3 part isn’t even talked about until you get into the game. I still read a lot of print but in the last few years, suspiciously after getting a smart phone, I’ve started listening to podcasts, dramatizations and audio books. The odd thing to me is that what I like to listen to is in many ways completely different than what I like to read.  For instance, I like to “read” romances. I’ve been stressed out this last week due to an upcoming medical procedure so my mind hasn’t been on posting regularly.
