It was nice taking some time off. Didn’t get a lot of reading done but did watch a few new movies. Plus I discovered a couple of new-to-me detective series. We were able to watch both Sonic the Hedgehog 2 & Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers together as a double feature family movie night. Let me put it this way, they are both very good. The next two weeks are vacation time for the family. So, naturally we’ve been making a list of the things we want to do. Which includes new to us things to watch. I have been fighting my allergies the last few days. I’m either stopped up and can’t breath or constantly have a tissue at my nose. Yech. As a result I haven’t done a lot of anything this week, mainly because my eyes feel blurry half the time. One thing I realized when I was recovering this spring is that I desperately need new-to-me romance authors to read. I mean, comfort reads that you’ve read over and over again are great when you are really sick. But as I got better, I was looking around for something new and found out I didn’t have anything. I actually began feeling well enough to start doing a bit of blogging about a month ago. So, of course, we immediately started having a lot of problems with our internet connection. Then it died. Dead. As in we were no longer even getting a usable signal at our house except on our phones. Thus began the search for a new internet service. Which is not simple when you live in a more rural area. I wanted to let everyone know I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth. The week before Thanksgiving I was very under the weather with a flare up of a nagging problem I’ve had for awhile.
