I have recently discovered the joys of listening to podcasts. But I’m picky and it took me awhile to find some podcasts I really, really like. Well, two. The other is a goal I’ve set for myself. The first is the Adventures of Superman radio serial on Botar’s Old Time Radio. I love listening to this. It’s just so cute. Yes, I said cute. And there is a lot of it to get through. (1444 – 12 minute episodes) One thing though, I knew before I started listening to it that the character of Jimmy Olsen was introduced in this radio serial. I didn’t know thatRead More →

I like to rewatch and reread things. I know this. It’s like a craving to revisit favorites at times. Lately I’ve been in the mood to rewatch the tv series Fringe. The problem is that it’s not available on any streaming service that I have access to. At least that I’ve been able to find. You know when I first started watching that series, I wasn’t even sure I was going to like it. But I did and it’s become one of my all time favorites. Didn’t hurt that it has a very strong, if quirky, romance in it.Read More →

I was looking for list(s) of old black and white mystery movies and ran across Greatest Films – The Best Movies in Cinematic History. I could spend days on this site. Except for the time spent actually watching some of them. Seriously, there are more movies listed there than any once person could watch in a lifetime. Unless one was extremely dedicated.Read More →
