Am I seeing double?
2006 May 22

Ahem. Need I say more?
Okay, I will anyway. Look closely at the muscle definition. Now, Prince of Ice came out May 2006 and The Sea King will be out in June 2006. I mean, if they were going to reuse the same bod, why do it so soon? And they could at least change his clothes . . .

Are these from the same publisher?

One can only hope, Jane. Otherwise it’s too freaky to think about. I never even thought to check publishers when I got the images from Amazon but I’m thinking that they’re both LoveSpell. I know Prince of Ice is because I have it in my hands right now.
Uh-oh. Just checked Amazon again and The Sea King is listed as Berkley. What the . . . ?

LMAO, too funny…gives a new meaning to recycling, don’t you think? LOL.

I showed them to my son and he quipped “Well, what do you expect of romance covers . . . ”
I would’ve smacked him upside the head if I hadn’t had a sneaking suspicion he was right. He ducked anyway so I felt better. (Don’t worry about him too much because he’s almost a full foot taller than me. I can barely reach his head. :p)
This one is just too weird, though, because they barely changed it at all. Still, I have to wonder if I would’ve noticed it myself if I hadn’t just read Prince of Ice. Wonder if the Smart Bitches have seen it yet. Hehehe.

You should email it to them. I thought the last cover snark was weak because I didn’t think the covers were that bad.

I did let them know about it in a comment. If you mean the Arnette Lamb covers, I didn’t think they were nearly as bad as most either.

I see this more often that I care to and I’m always like: where have I seen this cover before? Not just romance novels either.

Yeah, I know. I guess what threw me so much on this one was how close together they came out.

Emma Holly’s upcoming release with Berkley is called “Prince of Ice”. How’s that for seeing double?
