I am so out of it today. I started getting a sore throat last night and was hoping it would be gone this morning. No such luck. So, I’ve been dragging today.
Not sure if Suisan cheered me up or bummed me out, either, because like her I’m also so ready for Captain Jack. Arr. Yes, one would think I’d be breathless waiting for the new Superman movie instead, but I’m too leery of it to hold my breath that long. Hehehe.
Okay, back to bed for me. Bye now.
Not sure if you want to hear this right now or not, but I’ve NEVER had strep. My mom and sister seem to get it fairly often, but I never have. Strange, isn’t it? Though I HAVE had spots on my tonsils before and that sucks.
I hope you’re feeling better today.
CindyS, I agree about the third Matrix movie. I left the theatre feeling so lost. It didn’t even come close to being as good as the first 2.
Sorry, that should say that I *did* love the second one. It was frickin’ amazing.

Hope you feel better soon!
Yeah, I have a hard time keeping my expectations from getting too high when I get really excited about a movie and then I’m just bummed when the movie didn’t work the way I wanted it to. You’d think I would be used to this since Sci-fi movies are my favorite. Trust me, I try not to get excited about them but sometimes, it’s just too hard! Eg – when I saw the Matrix II trailer I actually whimpered at one of the scenes they showed because it looked so marvelous. I didn’t love the second one but WTF with three? I need to rewatch it but I’m not sure I can handle the bleak feeling at the end.

Thanks, Holly.
I can’t decide if I’m getting better or getting worse. I don’t feel as bad overall although my throat is still a little sore. Earlier today, though, I swear I actually had spots on one of my tonsils, which cheered me up to no end. Not!
You know, it’s been so long since I had a case of strep throat that I can’t even remember what it felt like but I’m pretty sure one usually has a fever with it and and I haven’t had that today at least. Just felt generally yucky. Guess, I’ll see how things go tomorrow.
Aww! That sucks! I hope you feel better soon.
I hate that feeling you get when you’re ill, that “out of it” feeling.
Poor baby!
